The story of Peter Pan has always been extra magical to me. It is funny because as I wandered around Fantasyland last night, every direction you look there is a representation of some sort of magical story. A girl brought back to life by true love’s kiss after eating a cursed apple is one direction. A puppet that comes to life through the magic of a wish is next door. Animals the talk and drive like madmen across the way. Oh, and elephants that fly! Then there is Peter Pan. Sitting under the shadow of the Matterhorn, this is the attraction that is probably my favorite in Fantasyland. Hop on board a pirate ship and set off towards the second star to the right, and straight on til morning. See Wendy, Michael, John, and Peter Pan himself battle pirates and rescue Tiger Lilly. Oh, and there is that beautiful scene where you look down over Neverland before being shot at by the pirate ship. Finally, there is the music. Peter Pan has one of my favorite Disney soundtracks. I love listening to the music in the queue. I’m halfway to Neverland just hearing it! It captures my imagination and takes me to a place of adventure and pixie dust. So… all that being said. Last night, I took this picture. HDR seems to be a perfect way to shoot anything related to Neverland… there is a certain magical quality it brings to light. I hope I captured a little bit of the magic last night with my camera. What do you think?
Make it a GREAT day!
